Before beginning the installation of the theme you need to have wordpress installed and configured in your server. please refer this guide http://codex.wordpress.org/Installing_WordPress. You have two ways to install the theme:
1. FTP UploadUpload the inner zip folder and only install your theme through the Wordpress admin installer located under "Appearance" "Themes" "Install".
Both the theme content and theme options have been provided so that you can set up the theme to look exactly like the demo in a few minutes. You can find the main demo XML file, along with the demo content XML files for each of the example sites in the main download folder. This XML file is to use through the WordPress import tool, which can be found in Tools Import WordPress. Follow the steps to import the demo content and leave the final page to load with a confirmation that the content has been imported successfully (this may take some time).
Step 1 - Navigate to Tools Import Wordpress
Step 2 - Install de Wordpress Importer Plugin
Step 3 - Search for the file (planax demo.xml) and import
Step 4 - Once installed the woocommerce plugin, repeat from step one and upload (planax_demo_woocommerce_products.xml) and import.
NOTICE! Before you install the xml content you need to be sure that the theme and all plugins required in the theme are activated.
Once imported the demo content the structure of the website will be populated with predefined page templates & sections. All the images and videos viewed on the demo are not included in the import since Brain 5 Studio doesn't have rights to include. The Structure of every page is setup so you can easily replace content and images as you desire.
Once you have imported the demo content XML, you will still need to set the home page by going to Settings Reading, and also select the menu in Appearance Menus.
If you have any issues with the import, i.e. any errors, then please contact your hosting to increase your php memory upload limit before contacting our support for help.
By selecting the Appearance Menu option on the Wordpress sidebar you can set the navigation by creating a menu (Appearance Menu Create a new menu ). You can create as many menus as you want but in order to designate the main menu you need to activate the checkbox that will be at the bottom of the menu page.
Now you can add mouse move parallax to columns in Visual Composer. Just Open the Column Settings and upload your image

The PLANAX Theme options its located under Appearance > Planax Options in the Wordpress admin, also in the top Bar. It provide the user with an extensive set of configuration options to extends the capability of your website and change the way your website looks and behaves. All the sections will have descriptions to make day the understanding of their purpose.
The theme options can be used for customize the website according to your needs. Including Layouts, Configuration options & much more. Navigate trough all the options and take advantage of the many features this theme offers.
Just remember to click the button update setting so the changes can take effect
Set up general elements of the page
Page Loading: Activate or Deactivate the loading effect on all pages
Enable back to top: Display the arrow for back to top on scroll the page
Disable Page Comments: By Default is on, activate or deactivate comments for pages
Show breadcrumbs: Display the breadcrumb on all pages.
In this section you can configure the layout of the menu. upload the images for the logo, favicon & administrator login page.
Header Layout: Select the layout style for the Header.
Your Logo: Upload your logo image.
Favicon: Upload your custom Favicon image, .ico or .png file required..
Admin Logo: Upload your custom logo to replace the admin login logo..
Logo Height: Drag the slider to set the logo height.
Main Header Shopping cart: Enable / Disable the Shopping Cart in the Header.
Main Header Search: Enable / Disable the search bar in the Header..
In this section configure the style for the footer social icons, define the column layout for the footer widgets and write the copyright text. The widgets used on the footer you can select in the Appearance Widgets Footer Widgets Areas.
Use Footer Widgets: Activate or Deactivate the visibility for the footer widgets, by default is ON.
Footer Background Color: Define footer widgets area background color.
Footer Text Color: Define the footer text color. very helpful in case you want a different background color.
Footer Layout: Select the footer column layout. Choose Between 1 column, 2 columns, 3 columns and 4 columns. Elements can be added in the widget section
Footer Copyright text: introduce a copy for the footer, leave it blank for default footer
Define the color palette for your website, also can be editable on the customizer page
You can choose wether to keep the predefined theme font or select from google fonts your favorite one. Be sure to set to ON the selector to start using Google Fonts. You can configure every single font used on the website.
Configure the search options for your website.
Enable Super Search: Activate or Deactivate the visibility for the search on the top bar. This action will display a full height section for the search
Search Page Background Image: Upload your Search page background image. This image will be featured in the super search background and in the search results page header
In this section you can manage the options for the google maps to feature in the contact page template. You can upload a custom icon as a pointer for the map, and choose the type of animation. You can add as many addresses as you want. This Converter can help you to get the information for the latitude & longitude of your address. You can add till 5 locations by using the switch of enable locations.
Select the layout for the blog section of your website. choose from the many options that this Configurator brings. Standard Blog with Sidebar, Standard Blog Full Width, Masonry Blog with Sidebar or Masonry blog Full Width. Also select if the single post will be with sidebar or not. Also have te option to include the social sharing capabilities for the post. For your convenience is divided in 2 sections: Entries & Single Post View for easy setup
Blog Category Layout Select the layout style for the Blog Listing. Choose between Standard, Standard with sidebar, Masonry & Masonry with sidebar
Read More Button Activate or deactivate the Read More button, by default is ON
Masonry Margins choose if your grid will have a gap between post or if will be all tied
Enable Sharing Options Activate or deactivate sharing options for your post in the entries view. By default its OFF
Blog Single Layout Choose between fullwidth or with Sidebar
Blog Single Navigation Choose between bottom navigation or side navigation
Show related post Activate or deactivate the related post option at the bottom of your single post view
Show Tags Activate or deactivate the tags view on the single post view, by default its ON
Show Author Activate or deactivate the Author view on the single post view, by default its ON
Show Comments Activate or deactivate the Comments view on the single post view, by default its ON
Show Pagination Activate or deactivate the pagination view on the single post view, by default its ON
Sharing options Activate or deactivate the sharing options on the single post view, by default its Enabled
In this section you can manage the options for display the Woocommerce Store template page.
Shop Category Layout: Select the layout style for the products listing.
Products Layout: Select the layout style for the products.
Header Cart: Enable / Disable the header icon cart.
Catalog Mode: Enable / Disable the catalog mode, in this option the store will not be able to show the add-to-cart options, it will be only for display products.
Breadcrumbs: Enable / Disable the breadcrumb navigation.
Number of Products per Column: Drag the slider to set the number of products per column to be listed on the shop page and catalog pages.
Number of Products per page: Drag the slider to set the number of products per page to be listed on the shop page and catalog pages.
Number of Related Products per View: Drag the slider to set the number of Related Products per View.
Sharing Options: Enable / Disable the sharing options for your product.
In this section you can insert custom css or js code for your website, notice that any bad code can mess with the optimal performance of this theme, so be careful.
In this section you can import the settings configuration predefined in the theme demo, this will make your site look exactly like the Site Demos, the you can start change the information.
The color customizer can be accessed by pressing the "Color Customizer" button within the WordPress admin bar, or through the Appearance > Themes menu. From the color customizer you can preview the themes color/skin changes as you make them.
Planax has included 6 new widgets areas for content placement, 4 areas for the footer (in case you need a 4 footer layout), a widget area for the page with sidebar and a widget area for the woocommerce pages, just drag and drop the desired widget into those areas and will be shown in the proper pages.
Custom page layouts can be applied to any page by selecting the desired template on the “Page attributes” widget when creating/editing a page. PLANAX includes Default Template, Home Page, Page with sidebar, Portfolio page, Clients page, Team page, Contact page & Gallery Page.
Every page template include an option for the image background of the page. the only template that allows slider & video background will be the Home page template & the Home Full-width page template.
You have the option of activate and deactivate the page loading effect in the header options at the theme options.
Control the header of the page, setup easily the type of header you want, choose between:
Image background: Upload an image for the background of your header, by default the images are background-size: cover and background-position: center center
Slider Background: Upload images for the slider, in this option title for the header will remain static, but the images on the back will be slide, by default the images are background-size: cover and background-position: center center
Video Background: Upload directly to the page your html5 videos, formats to upload will be mp4, webm, ogg and dont forget to upload the thumbnail image for visibility on mobiles. Video background will not work in mobiles only for desktop
Color Background: A Simple flat color background, choose the color you want.
No Title: In this options the Section for the header will be completely removed, so the content section goes completely to the top, this option is ideal if you plan to use a plugin slider header like REVOLUTION SLIDER (include in the theme plugins) or a custom header of your preference.
Full Height Header: By default header has a height of 400px, By selecting full height the header will take the height of the screen. Making it ideal for full image or video landing pages.
Custom header height: If your not confortable with the 400px height by default of the header you can add the desired value, put only the number, no need for "px"
Header font color: Define the color for your header text, by default is White
Social Share Activate or deactivate de sharing buttons for the page
Define the custom content to use in the header of the page
Alternative Page Title Overwrites the current page title for a desired one, font & size can be selected on the theme options under typography section
Page Subtitle Add a subtitle for your header, font & size can be selected on the theme options under typography section
Text Alignment Choose alignment of the text for your header: Left, Center or Right
Header Buttons Choose to include buttons on the header, this will always be under the subtitle, choose between no buttons, 1 buttons or 2 buttons, Enter the text, link, Button Background color and button text color.
You have the option of control the layout of every single page, by making it fullwidth or centered, giving you creative control over your page. By default the page comes in fullwidth mode.
Display Feature Image in content Show or hide the feature image in your page content
Padding Top Adds a 40px padding top in the content area
Padding Bottom Adds a 40px padding bottom in the content area
Social Share Activate or deactivate de sharing buttons for the page

This page structured with a right sidebar with a custom widget to insert content.
This layout will include a custom layout design for include the Google Map feature for the directions, location options can be setup from the Theme options panel under Contact. With multi-directions and animated icons options that can be setup via the theme options. the contact form that is used is powered by the plugin Contact Form 7 wich is required to install when the theme is activated.
The Posts menu option on the left is where you add blog posts. To add a new blog post, select the Posts > Add New option from the left hand WordPress menu. You will then be able to set a title for the blog post, add the body content, and also provide all the meta information such as extra details and media. In the blog meta you can set the image for the thumbnail, and also the media type for the detail page.

All the elements of Visual Composer has been styilized to fit the design of this theme and all the elements from the B5 portfolio plugin can be accesed from the Visual Composer interfase

PLANAX includes a dummy data file with the basic structure of contents called “planax_dummy_data.xml” located in your main download zip. You can import this data by going to ( Tools > Import ) in your admin panel, choosing “Wordpress” and browsing for the file.
Also will include demos "Agency_demo.xml"" for import on the theme options panel to configure the option according to the Live demos of the site.
All content seen on the live demo might not be include in the import since Brain5 does not have the rights for include in the download. The images will be replaced by blank PLANAX branded images so it doesn't affect the Structure of the website and you get a similar look as the demo online.
Social Media options
In this section include all the social link information to feature in the social icons in the website. You have the options for Twitter, Facebook, Dribble, Vimeo, LinkedIn, Instagram, Google+, Flickr, Youtube, Pinterest & RSS feed url.
